Who we are
Welcome to the Church of Scientology, Mission of Fresno! The Fresno Mission was established in the early 1970’s and has been improving lives with Dianetics and Scientology Technology in the San Joaquin Valley ever since.
Our mission is to uplift the people of Fresno and the surrounding areas through our life improvement materials, educational courses, spiritual counseling and social betterment programs.
Our aims are as stated in “THE AIMS OF SCIENTOLOGY” Written by L. Ron Hubbard in September 1965.
“A civilization without insanity, without criminals and without war, where the able can prosper and honest beings can have rights, and where Man is free to rise to greater heights, are the aims of Scientology…”

Leadership
Meet Pam and Larry Scortt, Mission Holders of the Fresno Mission. They took the reins in the early 2000s after decades of experiencing the benefits of Scientology for themselves.
Pam is our Executive Director. She had the knowledge that Scientology truly works, and the responsibility to share it with others. So when she was approached to take on the role, she said yes. “It (Scientology) truly DID save my life in 1997”.
Under Pam and Larry’s leadership, the Missions has grown and expanded, outgrowing their premises more than once over the last 20 years. They have a small but mighty crew of dedicated staff that are here to help others experience the benefits of Dianetics and Scientology for themselves.
Mr. Hubbard says “A being is as valuable as he can serve others.” It is our privilege and honor to share this technology with you. Let us know how we can help you!
